Glyndebourne Opera Cup 2018
The Glyndebourne Opera Cup focuses on a different single composer or strand of the repertoire. In 2018 the featured composer is Mozart and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment will accompany the singers at the final. Following a worldwide search that attracted nearly 200 entries, and preliminary rounds in Berlin, London and Philadelphia, 23 singers aged 21-28 have been chosen to compete in the semi-final at Glyndebourne on 22 March. JAMES TOLAND VOCAL ARTS INC. COMPETITION
Samantha received second prize in the 2017 JTVA Competition in Oakland, CA.
DALLAS OPERA GUILD COMPETITION
On April 29th Samantha performed in the finals of the Dallas Opera Guild competition and was awarded First Prize.
METROPOLITAN OPERA NATIONAL COUNCIL
Samantha was named a winner of the 2017 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
2017 LENORE ANNENBERG ARTS FELLOWSHIP
In its 10th and final year, the Leonore Annenberg Fellowship Fund for the Performing and Visual Arts has named its awardees.
MEROLA OPERA PROGRAM SUMMER 2017
This summer Samantha will be an artist at the Merola Opera Program for it's 60th Anniversary Season and will sing the title role in Rossini's La Cenerentola.
CAROLYN BAILEY AND DOMINICK ARGENTO COMPETITION
Samantha was awarded first prize in the Scholarship Division of the National Opera Association’s Carolyn Bailey and Dominick Argento Vocal Competition.
